While it seems almost impossible to capture nature in a unique way, Ysabel LeMay defies all odds, creating spectacular images that radiate with color, density and awe. On view at Art Miami are three of her recent images: Reflection, 2014,Archeus, 2015, and Nexus, 2015.
CEG’s newest artist debuts nine photographs at Art Miami. His series Heroes is devoted to the disappearing landscape that shaped his childhood. Lit from within his pieces force the viewer to stand inches away, creating an intimate interaction with strangers.

Working as their own models, Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison, and Gregory Scott capture themselves in a range of personas – see them for yourself at Art Miami booth C39!
Michael Itkoff illustrates how to learn various skill such as posing and Tai Chi in his ongoing series, How To. His pieces are made up of photographic stills pulled from vintage how-to books. Michael layers these static images creating moving figures shown in short gifs. Come learn How To do just about anything from Michael’s pieces at Art Miami New York.
Gregory Scott’s newest piece Van Gogh’s Bedroom, 2015 is currently featured at Art Miami New York! Gregory’s pieces are created in a mixed media fashion combining photography, painting, and video into a singular photograph. Gogh see it at booth C2 before he heads back to Chicago!

We all know there are many styles of portrait photography including traditional, environmental, fashion, documentary, etc. We all know the power that portraiture can display from various expressions and moods to identity and physical makeup. This is your chance to see numerous styles of portraiture on view in booth C2’s portrait collection at Art Miami New York!First up in the portrait collection is Floriane de Lassée. In Floriane’s series How Much Can You Carry? she documents portraits of people in remote communities carrying their treasured possessions on their heads. Representing a sense of curiosity and fun these portraits put forward what can be considered the community’s only survival means.
Next in the portrait collection is the work of Heather Dewey-Hagborg. Heather’s Stranger Visions series illustrates the future of science through portraiture. She collects cigarette butts, hair and chewed gum from public areas around various cities for DNA samples. Using these discarded items, Heather cracks genetic codes creating 3D face portraits of strangers. You have to see it to believe it!
And finally, the well know work of portrait photographer Sandro Miller and his muse John Malkovich. Sandro’s series Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich – Homage to photographic masters recreates some of history’s most iconic portraits.
