Art Speaks: “I am…” held on September 14, 2019.

Catherine Edelman Gallery is looking for writers to read their work at one of our upcoming literary events: Art Speaks.

Art Speaks  takes place in the gallery every second Saturday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. This new year-round initiative invites local writers and poets to read pieces they have written based on the theme present in the exhibition on view, providing a venue for local writers to share their work. Past themes have included “Past is Present” and “I am…” Our goal is to encourage and stimulate creative expression in an interdisciplinary setting, offering an opportunity for local creatives to collaborate and form connections. The works being read can range from poetry to fiction, experimental to narrative. We welcome all levels of writers and encourage all types of creative writing!

We currently have openings for the following event:

Saturday, October 12, 12 – 1pm.
Theme: “I want to be…”

If you are interested in participating, please contact Christina Nafziger at christina@edelmangallery.com.

Stay tuned for more dates being added to our Art Speaks calendar.
