2013 marks the ten-year anniversary of The Chicago Project. Started in 2003, The Chicago Project was created as an online only gallery, devoted to unrepresented photographers in the Chicagoland area. In an effort to promote local talent, Catherine Edelman Gallery put out a call for submission to all local photographers to submit work on an ongoing basis. To date, the site has featured more than 80 photographers whose photographs range from traditional black & white landscapes to color narratives. The goal of the online gallery is to expose local artists to our ever-increasing audience, which includes curators and collectors worldwide. Artists in the ten-year anniversary exhibition are Clarissa Bonet, Eddee Daniel, Juan Fernandez, Peter Hoffman, Justin Chase Lane, Paul Marquardt, Jessica Tampas, Anthony Vizzari and Jacob Watts |

Ctrl+P: Photography taken offline was started in January 2011. Inspired by the hundreds of photographs we see on blogs and online galleries, Ctrl+P provides further exposure for new artists we find while searching the web, exhibiting a small selection of one person’s work every two months, taking the pictures offline and putting them on the wall. The fifteenth artist we will be featuring is Lindsay Morris. Her images and statement can be found here.
