We just received the above print, The Eye is the Center, 2011, a new image by Lauren E. Simonutti. Prior to receiving the print, Lauren shared a drawing she made when the idea for this image came to her. This is how Lauren describes her working process: “I seldom sketch. As I am usually home if I get an idea I go upstairs and shoot it. On rare occasion when I am not near my gear I will do a quick sketch of an idea that occurs. Thing is, I can’t draw.”
